What does one look for when she walks into a Jimmie John's? Freaky fast and friendly service, a great sandwich, funny signs, and a clean restroom. Done and done. The bf and I were making the drive back to metro Detroit from Chicago (he met the family!), and we were both hungry despite just coming from Chicago's Chinatown. I was craving Jimmie John's, but I just thought no way there's one all the way out here...then next thing I know, the bf lists it as an option! Good food comes to those who think it, I suppose lol. We were greeted nicely, we ordered, made the obligatory travel restroom stop, grabbed our yummy sandwiches, and we were on our way!

This is the worst jimmy johns I have ever been to!! The music was so loud the cashier couldn't hear your order. I ordered a #6 unwich with bacon added but when I got my order it was a #6 with bread and no bacon, I went up to ask for my added bacon and they gave me sad, frozen uncooked bacon. Their service was also "freaky slow" there was only 2 people in the whole place and it took twice as long as it normally does to get my incorrect order. Needless to say this will not be a stop I'll make again next time I'm out in Michigan city!

Our office would order from this Jimmy John's location extremely regularly, at least once or twice a week. In general we were very happy with the quick service. However, today we were informed that our office is too far away for them to delivery to going forward ... we are 2.6 miles away. I wish them well, but just wonder how soon they will go out of business. If they were giving away their food for free across the street I wouldn't even think twice about trying it now .... Jimmy John's is dead as a franchise to me.
